"discussions on potential fund raising activities are not at a stage that would warrant any disclosure at this time'
The clock is ticking and they will need to begin to take concrete steps very shortly.
Question is are those 'discussions' with an external potential investor or are those discussions simply within the board and pertaining to a garden variety retail raise.
My guess is they will go to market soon offering approx 20% discount to the recent vwap with 'sophisticated investors' taking the lion's share and retail picking up the remainder through a spp.
Often in times like these under subscribed with the opportunity to beat the discount on market.

I can't see any options open to them beyond this in this current market.

I don't see any good ground to presume a capital investment deal is going on behind the scenes, obviously I could be wrong and it would be a marvelous outcome but I see nothing tangible to support the notion.
