Wouldn’t give the anti Lynas circus too much credibility just yet Toly. The call for a PSC by Fuziah and Wong will need to be addressed in parliament. If it doesn’t get enough support in the Dewan Rakyat and ultimately from the PM, it ain’t happening.
The newly formed federal government that is made up of a fractious coalition has many issues to deal with so I doubt Lynas will be high on the agenda, if at all. Besides it will be easy enough for the new ministers in charge of the portfolios that oversee Lynas operations, such as AELB & DOE, to very all the information that Fuziah and Wong require. The call for a PSC is nothing more than a publicity stunt IMO.
