There is a serious problem with how Christian countries view Islam.
We view Islam as a religion parallel to our own. It is not better or worse but it is not the same type of organisation.
The basis upon which we consider other religions is that they are secular. Islam is not. Islam is both a religion dealing in matters of the spiritual and a worldly legal code which is God's word not subject to change by governments.
We would assume that members of a religion are free to enter or leave it. A moslem is not free to leave.
We would assume a religous leader cannot sentence a man to death in another country.
Islam is more than a religion, yet we treat all facets of it as protected under religous freedom.
Now all newspapers and even the US government cowers in fear at the prospect of retribution lest we offend Islam.
Our elites genuflect to Islam even though it is opposed to all of their favorite causes.
