Mr Market is dour about metals ATM.
S32 has a big capex task at Hermosa. I have noted Mr Market does not capitalise projects until they are under 12 months to production, so discounting Hermosa is likely to continue to end 2026.
More cheerfully, it looks like the Trump administration will approve Arctic and Bornite, S32's JV with Trilogy.
GK has plenty dry powder and borrowing capacity for M&A. He lacks a useful target.
SFR would be good, bloody expensive. Its Cu, Zn and Ag would sit nicely in S32's holdings.
