Hi Just wondering if any body has sort clarification from the ATO as to whether or not share trading/investment meets the SMSF over 65 years work test. Like many on here, I spend a heck of a lot more time than 40hrs a month trying to maximize my return on my SMSF assets. As with any self employed person, I don't receive a salary payment but I do obtain a taxable (was pre-pension phase) income, so shouldn't it be classified as work.
