So according to Prime 1 there are only a couple of new applications for graphite.
What he fails to mention is the existing applications for graphite. I posted while back on both the SYR and MNS boards [14492468]. Dig deep and you might find the light at the of the tunnel old chap.
Graphite isn't all pencils and electric car batteries. For existing applications the demand doesn't have to grow, the supply simply has to dry up. China doesn't have much decent graphite left within their own boarders. What they do have is stock piles of low to medium flake graphite and mines that have become costly to run due to the depth required to mine and the low quality product. But they still need the big stuff to meet existing demand.
Sounds like Prime is questioning the business decision of the 2 very large China State Owned Enterprises. Surely he isn't more informed than they are is he?
