    to put a technical view...
    we are seeing a narrowing of the bollinger bands...
    this means the volatity is reducing ..as reflected in the tighter trading range...

    usually a narrowing of the bollinger bands is followed by breaks out...sometimes the first break is a false move as well....

    my 2cents...
