I doubt anyone will go to jail. The 'inventor' now has his own string of pubs courtesy of MWC shareholders and nobody will do anything except slap wrists.
Adams will claim that with new technology its impossible to be sure of anything until commercially run and - anyway - he has his independent experts reports to back him up that the technology was unique and 'worked (at least - it did when they looked at whatever they looked at...)
Pea and Thimble trick. Now you see it - now you don't and MWC shareholders will simply be poorer without necesarily being wiser.

Hopefully the excellent website that buys delisted shares www.delisted.com.au will be back in action before 30 June to help let you at least crystallise the loss for tax purposes.
