Thanks for all the replies I am currently in the UK so timing of my reply is a little out of hours. What I have noticed at the open is for the price to be initially pushed up or down by 10 to 20 points before heading in the opposite direction and then perhaps reversing . These initial swings present some opportunity for a quick fingered person or better still some automation. My plan is to identify and automate trading opportunities across multiple derivatives and the opening few minutes of chaos looks like a good one to me
