The second week of June is the time for our annual Dog of the Year Awards. These awards are very important for morale of the HC community. It is reassuring to know that someone holds worse stocks than you do.
It's not a great year for the pound like 2001 and 2002 were, but there are some classy contenders.
The winner this year in the Cute Little Mongrel spec category is QVL, which has lost 95% of its value over 12 months. EQL is a close second with 94%. Honorable mentions go to ANM, CBT, QED, CSY, BRO and JRV.
LHG takes out the Big Ugly Mongrel award with 42% of shareholder value lost (uhoh, I hold that one) - COH also having lost 40% from its high.
