Those periods you have quoted are not clear and the comment on lower profit is incorrect.

In its 2020 half-year financial report, FlexiGroup reported a 6% increase in profit to $33.3 million. Profit margin also increased by 25% in 2019 and still looking strong

Your comment on TTV was for 2019. As you stated "$2.0b for 11 months ended May 20", that includes the last 6 months of 2019. So you can't say compare last year and then the period of 11 months ended May 20, since the periods are overlapping. You will need to wait for the next announcement in August, then compare 2018-2019 to 2019-2020. As mentioned above there was a 25% increase in profit margins in 2019 compared to 2018 and 6% increase in profit in latest financial report, therefore we can safely assume the company has performed well 2019-2020.
