No we do not get a commission or any other inducment from linkly. never have.
linkly just provide the "link software" that gets installed on a pos terminal the then enables the pos software to communicate to the eftpos machine (any bank). it goes like this.
POS SOFTWARE > LINKLY SOFTWARE > EFTPOS MACHINE > BANK (for approval) > EFTPOS MACHINE > LINKLY SOFTWARE > POS SOFTWARE ................ (transaction complete)
Linkly enable connection for the pos software to every bank in australia (except tyro) that i know of. linkly do not charge the customer directly. they would be getting a trailing commsision / a portion of the merchant fee that the bank charges
The attraction of linkly is that it connects to all banks so the pos supplier doesn't really have to worry about talking to the customer about who they want to connect too. when tyro was paying commissions pos companies would go out of their way to push tyro.
