"Minnesota was taken from her garden 6 years ago at the age of 5 months old. The distraught owners searched every avenue for her to no avail and thought they would never see her again.
Upon her recent arrival to the shelter Minnesota was scanned for a micro-chip and we were able to contact her original owners and reunite them with their beloved dog. They will now live happily ever after together!
The Wingecarribee Animal Shelter team is so grateful to have been involved in this wonderful journey.

Dog thieves are absolute scumbags. Had a friend at school whose Yorkshire terrier was taken through the car window and never seen by the owners again. Another friend had their (barking) dog stolen from their property and it too was never seen again. The owners of Minnesota have lost 6 years with their dog, but at least they know that she survived and has now returned.
