paid for today's TLS with proceeds of the sale of most of my $16.80 QBEs. goodness i love it when market sentiment overshoots and people decide to emotively hate decent yielding solid stocks....

in my view - telstra is genuinely repositioning to become more relevant.

so when i see a clown dressed up in a novelty blackberry costume dancing around next to a hot chick holding a heap of blue Telstra balloons i actually see Telstra (cheaply) becoming more accessible in the retail space.

same when i see things like T-Box and other content/ value add offerings. good leverage off Telstra's existing asset bases (customers and copper fixed line) to generate increased revenue streams. Telstra mixing in hard price competition and improving customer service is likely IMHO to at least maintain ARPU, if not increase it at the expense of VHA and Optus. which supports the div into the longer term
