Gotta agree with you in some points Turk, as IMO i don,t think that hookin CRE now, was what ya call savvy timing.

Probably could have waited until the CRE qtly came out, and then waited until after Aug 1st Gold Diggers. Might have reduced the number of fence sitters.

Also, it could have gave the FML long termers an opportunity to soak up some spoils after the Gold diggers 1/8), if the news was good.
At the same time however, overseas instos are not really interested in aussie stocks at present, and with the euro PIGS and US in turmoil, and the all ords, well what can be said.!.

Just like the recent ann, I fear any new anns at this time (including other similar goldies) will go down like a fart in a lift, unless the ann is shaped like an elephant!!

There are a few goldie anns popping out, but not much of a reaction yet gold price pushing upwards.

However, I still believe that Campbell & Co. will raise FML to each long termers' target (whatever it may be) by 2013
