I agree completely Davo. My dog was attacked by 2 staffies and If I hadn't been prepared to use brutle force Sammy Beagle would have been torn to shreds. $600 vet bill was enough.
The council rangers were great and I suggest bad dog/owner behaviour always be reported.... as it gives them a heads-up for problem areas.
I get very nervous now when walking or at the dog park. Always wear Covered Shoes... they should be mandatory.
You would be amazed that unaccompained kids turn up to the dog park only wearing thongs and hence no way to defend themselves or their dogs. Dumb parents!
