    Well, that didn't last long.

Two huge Council Dog signs removed and in the local newspaper today.
The local pet shop co-owner, who happens to be on the "Albury Council companion animals management team", wants a compromise, to allow dogs off leash at certain times, has a petition in his shop, but not acknowledging the fact that this is the rule for dogs to be on a lead unless signposted otherwise.
He and others also don't acknowledge the fact that there are some a....les with dogs allowed to go, (defecate, noise), wherever they wish with no concern for the public that do not want to be intimidated or annoyed by dogs.

If the people that in the past had allowed their dogs off lead at Mungabareena, .... away from others , there probably would not have been this issue.

The other co-owner of the pet shop is a local vet, so it is not in their interest, IMO, to have reduced "off lead" areas, ... ie., puppy sales, money, vet bills, etc.

    RAVI
