Hundreds of Queenslanders lose their driver's licences after failing to pay dog registration.
Perhaps someone can explain the correlation between dog ownership and a driver's licence - particularly as a lot of people take their dogs for walks that in general may not need one to drive.
Perhaps purchase a 'self driving' car - perhaps such does not need a passenger to have a driver's licence. The QLD govt can then send any fine to the car's self driver facility.
Will this result in a rollout nation wide so as to lose one's ability to drive simply because they did not pay a local, state or even federal government infringement notice of any sort??
A financially strapped government's desperate way to recoup their own wayward spending - for a start: should they all be sent 'fine' notices for budget overrun projects wasting and using public funds and an automatic driver's licence cancellation??![]()
Perhaps then more time for them to walk to work and at the same time exercising their own dogs - just make sure to pick up after your dog's nature call - lest another fine be issued or else progressively lose clothing items - starting with that shirt or blouse.AIMO
