They had no choice whether to raise the money or not. They would have been seen as trading insolvent otherwise so harping on about the capital raising helps no one.
The SP was always going to do worse with a SPP hanging over the company. However it is more than likely going to rise quicker once this is all done and dusted. You can use figures to show a for or against a point of view without looking at the overall picture.
