The letter to shareholders in my opinion is very bullish and paints a picture of confidence in a a turnaround.
With litigation rife against directors on disclosure this is an indication this company feels it has a bullish future on earnings in its rail aviation and other businesses and the strong profit is its underlying strength
Having fallen from close to $13.00 the stock at 50c is not doing well at all following this release and is an indication the markets as the down 100 points indicates are very soft.
Yes AFG is up 2c to 51 , but in my opinion on that news it is actually doing very poorly , as I felt it would rebound so much more on that level of confidence sent to market and shareholders .
