Your understanding of banks is really lacking and the real reason why banks will continue to outperform is technological innovation, a reduced reliance on interest margins due to fees and other charges and a damn good loan book full of property with better risk provisioning to boot.
Primary school text books don't tell you everything you need to know imho.
