The $150,000 per day was stated during the conference call & this is not what it costs an airline to have an aircraft out of service, it is how much profit they would have made with the aircraft in service. In other words, revenue less fuel & other daily costs. The depreciation & any other such costs that would be incurred with or without the aircraft flying do not count in this exercise.
They should only count the difference in flying & not flying.
