Yes I guess the old saying of "If America sneezes, the rest of the world gets the flu " probably should now read "If China gets the flu , the rest of the world will get pneumonia".
Not meaning to get off topic , but at the core of it all probably is whether the capitalist system actually works because at the end of the day "continuing profit and competition " has ultimately driven the "western capitalist countries" to the "third world and/or communist countries" to do their manufacturing in order to maintain market share , profit margin , etc., and keep all of the other capitalist business models functioning.
Maybe , just maybe , somewhere in between capitalism and communism is the answer . Ultimately this is where the likes of China and Russia seem to be heading either by accident or intent .
My suggestion is INTENT , they (the Chinese in particular) have worked it out and it's now too late for any of us to change it , without another Depression that is...............Let's hope not.
