I don't take much notice of the dribble. It shouldn't take long for some sectors to do very well out of a lower AUD eg. agriculture, education, biotech, tourism, (a reprive for) manufacturing and more. These sectors by necessity became both lean and mean during the mining boom. The future is about company competitiveness in the first instance.

That said high global demand for resources will never go away .
