Yes, the fed will continue raising rates and therefore the USD will continue getting weaker, pushing AUDUSD higher.
The RBA will raise rates regardless of the exchange rate. There are more important things they’re considering. They have no control over the rise of the AUDUSD at the moment because it’s mostly caused by a weak USD, and partly caused by rising commodity prices. Two things they can’t control.
I’m not sure a rate rise in Australia will even move the needle on the AUD at this stage.
