    Yes of course there needs to be actual abuse proven thats a no brainer. The Me Too movement isn't about fanciful accusations though to somehow demonise men. It's all about encouraging women to feel confident within themselves to report abuse when they otherwise would not have due to fear and a lack of support. That can only be a good thing. Clergy sexual abuse victims take an average of 20 years to come forward, and thats very sad. But it show's what a fear and a lack of support can do to someone, which is to spend a chunk of their life in emotional anguish.

    Anybody who uses this is a vehicle to make false claims against others should also face the full force of the law.
