Some people are simply tougher than others and do what has to be done without excuses of why they cannot do it. I have given my own mothers example when there was no single mothers pension safety net. No money for schooling whatsoever ( so all school excursions requiring bus fare or entry fees were simply not gone on ) for 5 years while every last cent went to keeping the loan repayments made and boarders were taken in.
Call me the hard task master if you like but i have seen the difference personally about what can and cannot be done when the father does the wrong thing by the family.
