"The table you've posted is all victims including children,". .... and it's right to include all forms/results of violence in the home.
it isn't only those murdered who are adversely affected. the real subject here is the violence. period. not only those killed.
DV is the most damaging of all crimes. kids are the most damaged. they grow up with scars and anxieties and are more likely to be polarised into perpetrators or crushed into victims.... or hopefully grow through the trauma (if they have the necessary help) and become advocates for reducing violence. few leave the family home without being damaged.
the Bondi victims were not DV, but a whole different situation. my guess is the guy avoided men because he feared they could stop him. see the vid showing how he avoided men.
in the end, you trivialise the issue.
