For anybody who are seriously interested or concerned about DV in society can I suggest watching QnA tonight as it will have pollies from sides and others discussing ways to address this scourge.
Maybe after 9 years of a Govt which was well known for it's misogyny toward women coul;d be a reason why it was has increased in recent years.
After all when the Govt show's misogyny toward females then it does kind of legitimise it somewhat in the minds of others.
