No excuse for violence but how much of the following sets it off?

Some say violence is the menacing man's last option when he is losing the word play and over the manipulation and or simply can't cope against the higher emotionally IQ'ed female partner. Others say it is an adult male having a 2 year olds temper tantrum over control when it is being taken away from him. Others say he wants peace and quiet, but the nagging simply does not stop and no matter how many tasks he attends to something else is found to complain about. Others say withholding sex in marriage is a form of coercive control and this too should be prosecuted - how about that one Parsifal?

Just saying this is a lot more complicated then a lot of people think and takes more forms than a lot of people think, and women do play a role in the bad behaviour AND the coercive control behaviour. It simply takes a different form.
