Growing up, 1 of 8 kids, Poor, lived in what we call the Black Shack, no power, no running water, thunder box way up the back yard etc.
fox, kangaroo's, emu, sheep, cats, dogs, you name it as pets.
Our cousins, friends etc, including some ex Fairbrige Farm kids who we new due to our Aunty being a cottage mother their, would all be busting to get out there on W/Ends.
So it would seem despite us having nothing, we obviously had what others wanted - Good times, happy times.
Money doesn't always buy happiness.
