    cheers for your post Doc.

Occupy "movement' was so diffuse and so gathering in many with different agendas that it quickly became dissolute. great choice of example.

disgruntled people wanting what others achieved in the capitalist system, one that, despite political/ideological differences, we all benefit from. the disgruntled essentially wanted re-distribution of monies without effort.... and so the whole thing quickly became a non-starter.

this particular matter is indeed focused and must gain strong support due to the at least 50% female population.

100 years ago women had no rights in divorce. women as victims had very poor uptake by police and so women were unprotected. Now at least police have changed policy and are pro-active and sympathetic. Some men claim victimhood, and rightly enough, some women are perpetrators too.

BUT 80% of victims are women who are most unable to adequately defend themselves. almost ALL perpetrators against women are men. so this is a cause that all men should be seeing as a serious indictment on the rest of us who aren't aggressive, manipulative, controlling arseholes.

so its incumbent of we men to encourage violent aggressive men to see that attacks on women are cowardly, reactive to frustration and inability to communicate effectively. these men need professional help. there are services for men to seek that help.
