We all knew Red was as socialist as his name implied but smartly he rarely ventured onto political topics.

When he first replaced Red Symons, I established straight-up he was a show-pony who simply liked the sound of his own deep booming 'bollywood' voice and he made absolutely no effort to speak English comprehensibly for his, or rather Red's, audience.
I soon turned the dial and don't listen to ABC AM morning radio any more.
