You try and merge 1 second data with liquid in glass thermometer mjp. That will be challenging

The yanks use 5 minute averages.
BOM used to do 1 minute averages. Not anymore.

Now it is one second.

To boot there are real concerns that minimum data is clipped at a predetermined amount by BOM as exposed recently by Marohasy and Co.
Caught out lying and changing the reason to boot. They assured the public that the two stations in question that were observed to have unusually high minimum readings were the only two in existence that had the minimum data clipped. mmm, right only the sheep would believe that.
