    I could have sworn "Israel" existed and was referenced (a little before 1948) in the Old and New Testament and even in the best selling novel - Quran.

    If one wants to look at conquerors and controllers over the years, well, for example, Hispania (Spain) was conquered by the Muslims in 714AD and became Al-Andalus and part of the Umayyad Caliphate, before the eventual reconquest in 1492.

    I don't think too many Spanish would be comfortable suddenly rebranding Spain as Al-Andalus for some reason due to Islamic control for a period of its past...

    ...In saying that, are we looking at the re-reconquest of Spain to yet again become Al-Andalus, a province of the wider Caliphate of Eurabia?

    When are we going to learn from history?
