The biggest gain for least output for him is likely to be in the publicity he gets from the initial stages into the next 6 to 12 months.
After that the commitment becomes too large and the potential for loss too unpredictable for any sensible businessman to participate in the charade of the presidential election cycle.

Much better to follow the soros/goldman/union strategy of hiring a good looking and appealing clown/stooge/no-nothing like obama who then reads scripted speeches from a teleprompter and dances as instructed for the prepared crowd.
