As one who has followed VCR for a long time, originally buying in at 75c and accumulating with it's rise in price, taking up each share offer and a believer in the product, I feel qualified to comment even though I no longer hold.

VCR is one stock that lost me quite a deal of money even during the boom time.

The board and management spend money like a government department and consider shareholders funds as a research grant. I therefore decided that I had donated enough to medical research when the price dropped to the lowest price I had paid for their shares, 72c and sold out. I have considered reentering from time to time but decided I had "donated" enough.

Therefore I suggest if you want to donate to medical research then buy in. If not then just watch and buy in when they operate like a commercial enterprise.
