He has nothing to lose mate, HX is an unbelievable achievement, just not going to be what everyone thinks/hopes, it’s the answer to a question that hasn’t and won’t be asked, Dale has more likely been offered to give it a go as opposed to wanting to give it a go, I could be wrong, from my experience though, we get offered products/services a bit, I put an entire roof on in Malvern for free to trial a fake/plastic/composite slate about 18 months ago, I did use it again on another job in Malvern at the end of last year as it was actually pretty good, about 80% cheaper than slate too, different story though.
