On the figures the company has released, it appears to be a done deal....

...unless perhaps, maybe, possibly, the new Independent Expert's report comes up with words to the following effect:

"As stated in the Letter from the Independent Directors in the Notice of Meeting, one of their roles is to be satisfied that Shareholders are provided with the information they require to make an informed decision on the Resolutions.

"To assist the Independent Directors in fulfilling their fiduciary obligations to Shareholders - both directly AND indirectly - we have asked them to provide us with the necessary information in order to evaluate Mesbon's future maintainable earnings. Critical to this is their making available to us a forecast beyond 2011, arising from the likely material impact that the imminent Phase 4 expansion will have on Mesbon's operations.

"We have now succeeded in making available to us these forward budgeted estimates for the Phase 4 expansion. Based on our assumptions, allowing for the likely costs involved, and applying an appropriate discount rate to the timing of expected future cashflows, we believe that a minimum of xx cents per share should be added to the valuation estimate previously provided to Shareholders."
