    I think you miss the point entirely. Dilution is everything, when the company was valued at $17 a large takeover premium was associated with the stock. Trading at $6 the market would be taking an even more positive view than when the takeover premium was priced in. People have absolutely no idea on this thread about what dilution is and its importance.
