While people are talking as you express , and not ( like huge majority of Australians) feeling and absolutely knowing & following simple tough distancing rules , every single day as have done since very early this year —- I hope we do keep isolated from Victoria .
But I feel for Victorians and we must support Victoria or anywhere where is serous setback outbreak . But attitudes as you suggest .. No way . Keep the borders shut then otherwise. With good protocols in place for serious family and important work connecting if people are not able to think straight about this and too much risk exist . The only way is to confine and isolate the virus then let it burn out . It only takes a month if everyone please respect the rules. The original outbreak is a tragedy - due to a minority of negligent behaviours .
Make the Republic of Victoria even. (I don’t think it will get to this - but that’s how many Australians will think and feel , about how some people don’t see our country ). My opinion
