At the current rate we are looking at 5000 infections per week. If it doubles every week as it has been doing and lockdown nor masks help:
1 week - 5000 infections
2nd week - 15000 infections
3rd week - 35000 infections
4th week - 75000 infections
5th week - 155000 infections
6th week - 315000 infections
7th week - 675000 infections
8th week - 1.395 mill infections
and by the 10th week every single person within Australia has been infected.
That there is pretty much worse case scenario. After the 10th week we are then entering post covid era - so around November-ish.
Then back to normal (we'll post covid normal) Dec - Jan.
Which aligns with my prediction of doors beginning to open for international travel towards the end of the year - and this is based upon the entire population of Australia being infected.
Hopefully before that we start to manage things how other countries have done so and go back to normal before that date.
