just read an article that pointed out that the NZ Gov has started looking at employing people for 2 years to assist with Kiwis returning home and quarantining.
I think that has kind of dashed any hopes I had of a transoceanic travel bubble happening in December..
Also I had hopes of attending the Olympics in Japan.. but seeing that also a bunch of other events around the same time have now been called off or made available online I may have to watch it on my couch hooked up to my Oculus.
That said an awesome travel idea would be to hire out first person drones you can fly around on your couch and go to touristy hotspots ie snow capped mountains or even some creek and watch frogs ribbit away. Maybe Webjet can acquire such a company? Especially if we are now looking at 2+ years until we can go places in person...
