Dont be fooled by short selling nonsense.....!

Below is a "clip" from the ASX website which shows reported short sales in each security - as you can see, SPN shows only 6,928 shares against Issued Capital of 67M shares - nothing

When Taimoor164 says to refer to shortman.com for a sneak peak of short selling, either he has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA about short selling OR he is one of the traders who sells hard at the start of the day, and buys back in at a lower price after the market is spooked.
Short selling is very complicated - it is highly unlikely that SPN is even on the ASIC approved short selling list (still trying to confirm this).
If a stock is approved for short sale, you need a borrow agreement in place and you need to "effect" that borrow before you sell.

Given SPN is not on the list, it is very likely that traders are trying to sell high to buy back in low, which is fine as long as their intraday nett sell position doesnt exceed their holding.

If they sell more than they hold, then this is a breach if SPN is not an approved short selling stock and they havent got a "borrow" in place - difficult to prove this but it is an ASIC reportable offence.

Posters like taimoor are just scaremongering, so dont panic and deliver them cheap stock as that is exactly what they are after.

ps.the short sales below of 6928 shares is more than likely a "house acct error" by the broker which has to be reported weekly to ASIC - this is absolutely nothing.
