Going back over my DOW daily charts shows that most big against the trend rallies are short lived, two days max with substantial reversal during the next week.

Time will tell, but it seems to me that Americans are clutching at straws, with the slightest positive news triggering a buying spree, thinking it's the bottom of the market. What triggered the run last night was as simple as J P Morgan Chase announcing "we're good guys really, trust us".

I feel it may take a lot lore than that!
