"Similar to any company, when a new company is formed and writes operational documents, they are theirs, only they have the right authority to them and to be viewed within the operational and working of that company."
But, wouldn't it be in the best interests of the shareholders of the company to have those documents reviewed by independent people? Companies when concerned with archiving best practice quite often do that.
