It has taken Woodside more than six years so far to get approval for the NWS extension. This is an international disgrace
and now we have the State Govt that took six years , passing the buck to the Federal Govt whose court the ball is now in. Two elections coming up
and neither govt wants to get on the wrong side of the Greens who want to stop all oil and gas developments , so Ms Pliberseck will probably sit on the approval process until it is politically expedient .
You cant blame Santos or anybody else for that matter for stopping further investment .
