Would have been even better if Israeli company Navitas had come in with an offer to take Dorado off STO hands - they took out Premier Oils holding in the Sealion project in the Falklands and it is now on the cusp of FID after 15yrs of delay under previous owners. The minority shareholder in the licences (Rockhopper) has seen a 500% increase in sp since the takeover and will see a similar rise between FID and first oil which is scheduled 1st quarter 28. If you look at the Sealion project it is very similar to Dorado. Navitas strategy is to buy out proven reserves and fast track development.
