Woolworths said on Friday June 26 that demand for deliveries was up 40 per cent in Victoria due to the spike in coronavirus cases.
It said it's hiring extra couriers to deliver to households and businesses.
Is this a positive or negative? Are these deliveries - WooliesX is the sub brand - profitable or do labour costs mean it's a loss leader?
