"I don't get why they've said they can still reach the lower end of guidance because it's setting themselves up to be punished twice for the same thing when they issue another downgrade later in the year."
I wondered this myself. I suspect it's because if they admit to having to formally revise guidance, then it also pushes out their target for GAAP profitability in Q3/25. Given they have beefed up the sales staff (and taken on debt in order to do so) the entire investment thesis for 2024-2025 is all about growth - they were planning to grow their way to cashflow breakeven. If the growth doesn't materialise, it's a double whammy because of the debt they've taken on to get there. So probably a case of delay confirmation of bad news until they really need to.
